Carolina Ale House Beer Pairing Dinner

We’re working with Carolina Ale House to bring you a 5-course chef created beer dinner. Each course will be paired with a beer brewed by R&D Brewing.

This is a great opportunity to try something new! Whether you are new to craft beer or are a craft beer aficionado, you will love trying these beers paired with delicious food!

Pairing Menu

First Course

Charcuterie Board with Artisanal Cheeses

Paired with Seven Saturdays IPA
This IPA is hopped with equal quantities of Citra and Mosaic in the brewhouse and fermenter. Slightly golden in color with notes of grapefruit, mango and passion fruit. Classically brewed providing a perfectly balanced bitter and sweet finish.

Second Course

Kale & Mustard Green Salad topped with kiwis, mangoes, and pomegranate seeds with a passion fruit vinaigrette.

Paired with Passionfruit Gose

A low gravity Gose-style ale fermented with Passionfruit puree. Tropical passionfruit dominants the aroma and flavor and is backed by a refreshing tart finish. 

Third Course

Beer-battered chicken satay served with a curry peanut sauce.

Paired with Royal Extra Brut IPA

Dry and crisp with a light body. Citrus and tropical characteristics pair perfectly with a subtle backdrop of pine and spice. 

Fourth Course

Simple LA-style street taco with seasoned chorizo, fresh cilantro, and raw onion.

Paired with Mexican Lager
Easy drinking Mexican style lager with a touch of bready Pilsner malt and German hops.

Fifth Course

Maple coffee stout poured over house-made coffee ice cream topped with fresh whipped cream and cocoa powder.

Paired with Maple Coffee Stout
Sweet stout with cold brewed coffee and natural maple flavor. Silky cold brewed coffee and roasted malts in flavor. Creamy, frothy body with a satisfyingly sweet finish.
